Follow these steps to keep cards, cut lines and printable pieces at their intended size. Always use the instructions supplied with your individual game if they differ from this general guide.
Download the files from your order email and save a copy somewhere easy to find before opening them.
Check the instructions supplied with your game for its recommended paper size, colour settings and single- or double-sided pages.
Select 100% or Actual Size in the print window unless the game instructions say otherwise. Avoid “Fit to Page” when cards or cut lines need to stay at their intended size.
Print one page first. Check that text, cut lines and important details are clear before printing the complete game.
Normal printer paper is suitable for many instruction and puzzle pages. Light card gives playing cards and reusable pieces a sturdier finish.
Allow the ink to dry, then follow the cut, fold and assembly marks. Keep solutions and final reveals separate until the game tells you to use them.
Check the selected paper size. Try the borderless setting only when your printer supports it.
Change the scale to 100% or Actual Size.
Use a higher print-quality setting and check the ink levels.
Use the single-sided option or follow the game-specific duplex instructions.
Card-game boxes need scoring, folding and adhesive as well as cutting. Follow the printable box assembly guide for the complete process.
Tell us which game you are printing and what is happening through the contact page. We’ll help you find the right setting without spoiling the game.
